Essential oil is a volatile aromatic substance extracted from flowers, leaves, stems, roots or fruits of plants by steam distillation, liposuction, extrusion, cold immersion or solvent extraction.

Essential oils are highly volatile and evaporate quickly when exposed to air. For this reason, they must be stored in a sealable bottle and put back on the lid as soon as possible once opened for use. And because essential oil is afraid of light and heat, it is generally used in dark bottles as containers. Such as Amber Dropper Bottle, Gold Gourd Essential Oil bottle, Blue Empty Bottle Dropper. And etc.

Refined oil bottle selection has a lot of knowledge, but today we want to study refined oil bottle in the end can be recyclable?
We Tuosite, as a professional glass bottle manufacturer do not recommend reusing refined oil bottles, as it may affect the quality of the essential oil.
Used refined oil bottles are very difficult to clean because of their narrow mouth. It is difficult to clean the residual oil thoroughly, even if the bottle is soaked with water, alcohol, or detergent. It is easy to spoil the new essential oils if you use these bottles to make a new formula.
The residual oxidized oil and water in the bottle, even if only a small amount, will greatly shorten the shelf life of the newly mixed essence oil, resulting in greater waste, and will increase the risk of skin allergy for people with sensitive skin after use.
Therefore, when conditions permit, we try not to reuse essential oil bottles.
In addition, I would like to share with you a tip for cleaning essential oil bottles: First, after the essential oils are used up, put a piece of paper with good water absorption on the mouth of the bottle, and let the bottle stand upside down on it, about a day or so. The remaining oil inside will also flow down. In the second step, use tweezers to clamp the absorbent paper to wipe the inside of the bottle, and then wipe it with toilet paper a second time, you can basically wipe off the surface. The third step is to mix detergent with water, then pour it into the bottle, cover the cap and shake, then leave it for about 15 minutes, pour it out, and then add it again. After repeating 3 times, rinse it off with water. In the last step, after cleaning the inner wall of the bottle with a paper towel, open the lid and place it in a window or a ventilated place to ventilate. If it is urgent, you can blow it directly with a hair dryer. Don't wind it too hot.
In this way, you can clean up your essential oil bottles.
Although it is not recommended for everyone to reuse them, it is also good to keep good-looking bottles as home decorations.
